What are the long therm complications of diabetes?

Diabetes can train :
_ cardiovascular disease: such as stroke or all diseases of heart and circulation so the diabetes increase heart attack risk ;
_Retinopathy, a disease which affects the blood vessels supplying the retina. Without untreated, that can damage vision.
_Neuropathy, a disease which damage the nerves take responsibility for transmit impulses from organs ;
_Nephropathy ( Kidneys ) ; that isn't a disease specific to diabetes nevertheless it increase risks ;
_Necrobiosis ( skin's disease );
_Mastopathy, a rare disease which often touch women pre-menopausal affected by a Type 1 . That provoke hard lumps in breast ;

What are the main causes of diabetes type 2 ?

This form of diabetes in adults have more 40 years of age, in 80% of cases, obesity is the first problem of this diabetes.
Early the illness, the production of insulin by the pancreas is normal (or excessive).But the cellules of the organism responsible for capturing and using glucose become insensitive to insulin, there by increasing blood glucose.
-The first causes is lifestyle factors who is important to the developement of type 2 diabetes. As obesity or so porblem of alcohol..
-The second causes is medical conditions: hypogonadism is often associated with cortisol excess, and testosterone deficiency is also associated with diabetes mellitus type 2, even if the exact mechanism by which testosterone improve insulin sensitivity is still not known. ----And the third causes is genetic: There is a stronger inheritance pattern for type 2 diabetes.

Is diabetes hereditary ?

It's impossible to say that diabetes is hereditary, but we can note that in some families, diabetes is most present. We can therefore conclude that if we have a parent with diabetes this only increases the risk of being yoursefl a diabetic.
For exemple, if a parent is diabetic, his child will have 30% chance of becoming diabetic. And if his two parents are diabetic, he will have 50% chance.

How do we become diabetic ?

The persons diabetics are persons who have a too high glycemia in the blood ( hyperglycemia) or a too weak glycemia in the blood ( hypoglicemia ). So it means that the body, most precisely the liver doesn’t product the insulin which we need, or not enough if we are in hyperglycemia, and the liver doesn’t product the glucagon which we need, or not enough again if we are in hypoglycemia.

There are people who are diabetics from birth, and there are peoplewho become diabetic.

          In fact, some people become diabetics by an infection or by a viral. This is the type 1. These persons have an abnormal reaction with insulin in the liver and the pancreas. This is the most important cause of this illness.

         The second reason is genenic: some diabetics are often black people, Asian or persons from a minority ethnic group over 25 years old because this illness can be hereditary. And these persons can more the other people be obeses.

         And the last type is the gestational diabetes: this is for the pregnants women, who have never had diabetes before it, have a high blood glucose level during pregnancy.

 If a member of my family is diabetic, will I be a diabetic too ?

Ø  People who have a member of their  family diabetic, have  a predisposition to diabetes. This is the way of life who had a important role in illness development, for exemple : Overweight and physical inactivity. It’s true for Type 2 diabete.

Ø  However, there is  another  form of diabete : TYPE 1. It is hereditary for 5-6% of people with diabetic parents.

Wich are the differents forms of diabetes ?

There are three sorts of diabetes, here classified with first in the form most inoffensive and last in the most developed.
Two of them are consedered as an permanent illness and one is a transitive illness :

-The first form,

It's the transitive form, the "Gestational diabetes", it is an possible transitive illness to woman named GDM,(Gestational diabetes mellitus), This illness disapear after giving birth.
This form look like the second form of diabetes which is a illness in several aspects, And the problem is because the insulin wich is faulty and don't work in part, bacause it's not a fault general, it's a irregularity with the glycemy more or less according to the concerned person, Between 20 and 50 percent of the woman who is concerned by this illness can develop this illness again later in their lifes, this illness can affect the feotus and the mother and create dangerous problems for their health if it's not watch nearly.

-The second form,

which may be combined with relatively reduced insulin secretion is an illness which is like the first form, but it's permanent and the person have to watch nearly his glycemy with adapted apparatuses and they have to inject artificial insulin in their blood to adjust it, they aren't all times in danger because their body create a few part of good insulin who can regulate their glycemy, theiy have just to be vigilant, and have to eat well and avoid the surplus of sugar for their Healthy.

-The third form,

It's the most dangerous for the health and characterized by loss of the insulin-producing in the pancreas leading to insulin deficiency, is an error in the enzymes of the body of a person who will make bad insulin and so it's don't work, they can't create good insulin like in the second form, they have to watch nearly and very often their glycémie, they have to eat very balanced avoid completely the sugar and inject them artificial insulin often when their are in surplus of sugar in blood.

There is an other form of diabetes too,

It's very uncommon, when a person's blood glucose levels are higher than normal but not high enough for a diagnosis of type 2 diabetes. This is because of a genetic mutation or a problem with the hormones wich can do an excessive secretion, a damage to the pancreas.
It's not a very dangerous form, because it's just a higher level of glucose in blood than normal but not too much to be an illness than form two and three.

What are the different kinds of diabetes ?

There are many types of diabetes, the most common of which are:
 Type 1 diabetes: results from the body's failure to produce insulin, and presently requires the person to inject insulin. Type 1 diabetes can affect children or adults but was traditionally termed "juvenile diabetes" because it represents a majority of the diabetes cases in children.

 Type 2 diabetes: results from insulin resistance, a condition in which cells fail to use insulin properly, sometimes combined with an absolute insulin deficiency. Type 2 diabetes is the most common type.

 Gestational diabetes: is when pregnant women, who have never had diabetes before, have a high blood glucose level during pregnancy. It may precede development of type 2 diabetes mellitus.
